Empire Structures

A unique feature within the community building skills is the ability to build structures that benefit everyone. An example of such a structure is a bridge that is not within a community. Imagine a landmass off the coast of Istaria that has been cut-off from the Empire since the invasion of the Withered Aegis and only recently rediscovered. On that land would be treasures, adventures, and resources waiting to be experienced. To reach this land on foot a bridge would need to be constructed. In order to build the bridge players would need to acquire the necessary resources for the construction. Depending on the location of the building site, it may take the adventuring community to defend the area while the bridge is being constructed. Empire structures will take the entire community to rally behind the common goal in order to reap the benefits.

Just like community structures and Artifacts, Empire structures can also come under attack from the Undead and creatures of Istaria. Newly constructed Empire structures may need significant support from the adventuring community to push back the untamed frontier in order to ensure the structure will remain intact and in workable condition. However the major benefit is realized when the Empire structure is completed and all players can benefit from its function.
