2. Events
Battle fought at the very gates of Tazoon, the last bastion of the Living Races on Aradoth. This battle marked the first victory by the Living Races over the Withered Aegis. Victory was achieved by the sacrifice of Ryson Lightbringer who triggered an ancient Artifact at the cost of his own life. The victory also marks the end of the Age of Lamentations.
Siege of the Dwarven Capital by the Withered Aegis. The siege was fought in spurts over a fifty year period. The Withered Aegis successfully breached the outer defenses of the underground city but was never able to conquer it.
Dragon Society split into two warring factions, The Lunus and The Helian. The split occurred due to differences of opinion on how to treat the rapidly advancing and multiplying lesser races. The Lunus viewed the lesser races as a threat to dragon prominence and culture, followers of this belief advocated the conquering of the lesser races. The Helian believed that dragons should prove their superior culture by showing leadership and guidance to the lesser races.
In the Age of the Sorcerer human society, like its Dragon predecessor, split in two. One faction practiced the forbidden arts of Necromancy and Mind Domination and eschewed any moral values. The human race engaged in a bitter but truncated civil war in which the immoral section of society were ostracized and banished. These outcasts in time became the Race of Fiends.
