Happily, the original devs have rescued us from the fate worse than death (EI), and things seem to be looking up as of now :)
I've seen several of my old friends from Earth/Unity, ingame on Chaos, and some are poking about in the forums. I myself have taken up residence once more in the Hz mIRC chat, and hopefully one day the devs will visit us there again.
In the intervening years, I've been playing the other big boys in the MMO industry, such as EQ2 & WoW, and it's a nice change to ccome home to Hz, and relax and chat & craft beside ancient friends who I'd not seen in years. :)
PS; it also still runs on poor systems, like The Crappy Lappie, which was built to use Word, and not much else(oho, it's not mine, it's dad's) Granted, I had to set everything to Low or None, but I'm amazed I got an MMO to run at all! |
