you dont get money for blood around here....you only get cash if you donate plasma.

Haha, if your old enough and you can, most of everyone wants to give blood because of shortages. If someone needs a blood transfusion, but there's none of their blood type just cause someone didnt want to, its very possible they could die. So, I look at it as doing a civic duty and helping someone out by donating whenever I can (reasonably as well, since you should wait about 2 months in between donating)
